Deck overview

This is an Izzet spellslinger deck built around Niv-Mizzet, Visionary as a card advantage engine that turns every noncombat damage source into a draw trigger. The primary game plan is to deploy a suite of "pingers" - creatures and enchantments that deal damage to each opponent whenever you cast a noncreature spell - then chain cheap instants and sorceries to draw cards, burn the table, and eventually assemble the infinite damage loop between Niv-Mizzet, Parun and the commander. The deck also includes direct damage spells like Boltwave and Breath of Darigaaz, rituals for explosive turns, and a modest tutor suite to find key pieces. The win condition is either a sustained burn through multiple triggers or the two-card combo that draws and deals arbitrarily large damage.
