Reaper king by Gregsonsghost

Commander: Reaper King

Deck overview

This is a five-color Scarecrow tribal deck helmed by Reaper King, built entirely around his "whenever another Scarecrow enters, destroy target permanent" trigger. Because changelings are every creature type, the deck's 15+ changelings all count as Scarecrows, turning every creature cast into a Vindicate. The deck amplifies this with blink effects (Cloudshift, Momentary Blink, Ghostway, Semester's End, Conjurer's Closet) to retrigger the destroy ability, and with copy effects (Rite of Replication + Mirror Box) to multiply Reaper Kings for a mass-destruction blowout. The primary win is to strip the table of permanents, then close with lords-buffed changelings (Adaptive Automaton, Metallic Mimic, Mirror Entity) in combat. Secondary lines include a kicked Rite of Replication on Reaper King with Mirror Box for 25 destroy triggers, and a largely aspirational Liliana's Contract alternate win. It is a slow, value-driven control-tribal deck that wins through inevitability rather than speed.
