Deck overview

This deck uses Katara, Bending Prodigy as a slow repeatable draw engine. Its waterbend ability can be paid partly or fully by tapping artifacts and creatures, so Sol Ring, two-mana rocks, cheap fliers, and utility creatures help create the required six-permanent board. After assembly, the deck draws cards and plays a reactive tempo game with Counterspell, bounce, stun counters, and creature suppression. Eluge, the Shoreless Sea, Whirler Rogue, and evasive creatures provide pressure, but the list has no reliable compact win and no total lock. Its main weaknesses are poor tutoring, limited answers to resolved noncreature permanents, and the large board requirement for Katara, Bending Prodigy to function. It is a functional casual or mid-power control deck, not a competitive Commander construction.
