Deck overview

Fire Lord Azula commands an aggressive Grixis spellslinger combo deck designed to exploit spell duplication during combat. Azula's Firebending 2 provides two free red mana on attack, while her static ability copies any spell cast while she is attacking. The deck leverages this ability alongside mana rituals like Seething Song and buyback copiers like Reiterate to generate infinite mana inside the combat step. Once infinite mana is established, Azula copies burn spells such as Comet Storm, Lightning Bolt, or Exsanguinate to eliminate all opponents at once. A dense suite of cantrips, efficient tutors, and low-cost countermagic ensures consistent setup and robust protection during the winning turn. Backup plans like Storm-Kiln Artist, Underworld Breach, and Turnabout allow the deck to pivot and win without relying strictly on combat attacks.
