Maralen by AcireB

Format: Commander

Commander: Maralen, Fae Ascendant

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Sultai Faerie/Elf tribal value deck helmed by Maralen, Fae Ascendant, whose ETB-triggered exile engine turns every Elf and Faerie you cast into free spells from opponents' libraries. The deck floods the board with a dense tribal package - including changelings that count as both types - while generating tokens via Oona, Queen of the Fae, Bitterbloom Bearer, Springleaf Parade, and Lathril, Blade of the Elves. Obyra, Dreaming Duelist converts each Faerie ETB into a drain, and Scion of Oona turns the flying swarm lethal. The primary win is a wide evasive board, with a Deadeye Navigator + Obyra, Dreaming Duelist infinite-blink backup and Lathril, Blade of the Elves's activated ability as alternate finishers. The deck plays a midrange value game, accruing card advantage through Maralen's free-cast ability and a suite of draw engines before closing through combat or combo.
