Deck overview

Queen Marchesa leads a Mardu monarch-control deck whose actual engine is an infinite-damage combo assembled entirely in the 99. The early game is about seizing the crown: Marchesa's ETB makes you the monarch, her haste lets her swing immediately, and if the crown ever slips, she churns out hasty deathtouch Assassins. Meanwhile a squadron of damage-reflector creatures - Boros Reckoner, Spitemare, Mogg Maniac, Screaming Nemesis - turns every attack against you into a punishment. The real plan is to tutor up the singleton Guilty Conscience and pair it with any reflector plus a damage-redirect effect (Gideon's Sacrifice, Saving Grace, Shaman en-Kor), converting a single point of damage into an infinite loop that kills the entire pod in one turn. A dense protection suite (Silence, Grand Abolisher, Boros Charm, hexproof/indestructible equipment) shields the kill turn, with Dihada, Binder of Wills and monarch draw serving as the grind backup.
