Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul artifact and token midrange deck built around Aerid Konstrari. The strategy focuses on rapidly ramping into play with efficient rocks and dorks, then producing dense swarms of Heartwood, Food, and Treasure tokens. Once a critical mass of artifacts enters the battlefield, the deck converts token volume into lethal damage through two primary avenues: massive flying commander attacks augmented by Aerid's {6} activation or Improvised Arsenal, and table-wide burn triggers from pingers such as Reckless Fireweaver and Hedron Detonator. Supported by token multipliers like Doubling Season and Parallel Lives, the deck can overwhelm opponents with wide boards and tall aerial combat. While the strategy boasts strong ramp and solid independent backup threats like Roxanne, Starfall Savant, it has limited defensive shielding and card draw, requiring deliberate combat sequencing.
