Deck overview

This Rakdos deck is an explosive spellslinger burn strategy commanded by Kuja, Genome Sorcerer. The game plan revolves around casting noncreature spells to amass Wizard creature tokens and trigger direct damage triggers across all opponents. Once four Wizards are assembled, Kuja transforms into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied, doubling all damage dealt by your Wizards and turning minor spell casts into lethal strikes. Supported by damage multipliers like Solphim, Mayhem Dominus and City on Fire, alongside mana generation engines such as Storm-Kiln Artist and Birgi, God of Storytelling, the deck rapidly chains cantrips and rituals to eliminate the entire table in a single high-velocity turn. While vulnerable to well-timed board wipes and lacking blue counterspells, its dense redundancy and command-zone lethality make it a resilient and fast-acting burn engine.
