Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius tribal-aggro list built around Cid, Timeless Artificer. Cid scales the power and toughness of all artifact creatures and Heroes based on the total count of Artificers on the battlefield and in the graveyard. Taking advantage of Cid's unique deckbuilding clause, the list runs four additional copies of Cid in the 99, allowing them to cycle early for card draw and graveyard fueling. The deck curves low-cost Artificers and token creators into Cid on Turn 4, quickly presenting oversized flying and unblockable attackers such as Wraith, Vicious Vigilante and Thopter tokens. A suite of efficient interactive spells like Swords to Plowshares and Stubborn Denial protects the board while disrupting opposing strategies. The plan finishes opponents through aggressive, scaling combat damage over multiple turn cycles.
