Deck overview

This deck is a Selesnya Legendary Toolbox list helmed by Captain Sisay. The primary game plan accelerates mana on Turns 1 and 2 to resolve Sisay on Turn 3. Once Sisay untaps on Turn 4, she acts as a repeatable tutor engine to fetch the exact legendary permanent required for the table state. On Turn 5, the deck establishes a dominant position by tutoring and casting Urza's Ruinous Blast to exile all nonlegendary permanents, or deploying massive stax and protection pieces like Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines, Shalai, Voice of Plenty, and Avacyn, Angel of Hope. The deck transitions into a lethal combat finish by Turn 7 through high-power legendary beatdown, token duplication from Helm of the Host, and annihilator triggers from Ulamog, the Defiler. While vulnerable to fast combo decks and removal targeting Sisay during her summoning sickness, the deck features exceptional redundancy, broad reactive removal, and high resilience against attrition.
