Dino soup with splashes of everything by cmp1145

Format: Commander

Commander: Maular, the Next Evolution

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Maular, the Next Evolution leads a five-color stompy deck that ramps to enormous Dinosaurs and Hydras, then finishes with one doubled-overrun attack. The commander is mostly an accelerant: his attack trigger doubles every 7+ power/toughness on the swing, while Ghalta Stampede Tyrant, Maelstrom Wanderer, and Last March cheat the curve. Secondary paths include Etali's transformed poison counters and Klauth/Old Gnawbone mana chains. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built around Maular's front face and the Rulebreaker ability that makes the five-color identity legal. The plan is straightforward: build mana, dump big creatures, give them haste, then multiply their stats past 120 damage.
