Deck overview

This mono-black deck leverages Xu-Ifit, Osteoharmonist to turn severe creature drawbacks into game-winning advantages. By reanimating creatures as blank Skeletons with no abilities, Xu-Ifit cheats massive bodies like Phyrexian Dreadnought, Death's Shadow, and Ancient Stone Idol directly onto the battlefield without their self-sacrifice or stat-reducing triggers. The deck converts these oversized creatures into massive bursts of card draw and mana through cards like Disciple of Bolas and Ruthless Technomancer. It ultimately closes the game via an infinite untap loop with Thornbite Staff paired with sacrifice outlets like Altar of Dementia or Blasting Station, or by casting a game-ending Torment of Hailfire. Fast mana, efficient black tutors, and board-suppressing tools like Grave Pact provide a rapid, resilient, and proactive path to victory.
