Deck overview

Imodane, the Pyrohammer commands a blisteringly fast competitive Mono-Red Burn Storm deck designed to turn targeted creature removal into lethal table-wide damage. By leveraging format-ceiling fast mana and explosive rituals, the deck deploys Imodane on Turn 2 or 3 and immediately chains high-damage single-target spells like Lightning Axe, Flame Slash, and Mine Collapse. Each spell deals massive damage to a creature, triggering Imodane to deal that exact amount to every opponent simultaneously. Payoffs such as Virtue of Courage and Underworld Breach convert noncombat damage into dozens of fresh playable cards and graveyard escapes, sustaining a storm turn that burns the entire table from 40 to 0 in a single explosive sequence. Backed by free redirection spells like Deflecting Swat and anti-counter tech like Defense Grid, the deck consistently forces lethal finishes while bypassing conventional creature combat.
