Deck overview

This Boros deck combines Mouse kindred tribal synergies with Equipment and Valiant triggers under Mabel, Valley Hero. The early turns focus on establishing a low-curve creature footprint with aggressive Mice like Heartfire Hero and Flowerfoot Swordmaster, triggering Valiant buffs using cheap Equipment like Shuko and Sword of the Squeak. The deck transitions into a lethal threat by Turn 6 using scaling combat damage multipliers such as Shared Animosity, Warleader's Call, and Bruenor Battlehammer, eliminating opponents over sequential combat steps by Turn 8. A dense, high-tier suite of protection spells—including Clever Concealment, Flawless Maneuver, and Boros Charm—protects the creature engine against sweepers and single-target removal, while recursion spells ensure swift recovery if disruption breaks through.
