Buddy Butler (No Budget) by Wollie

Format: Commander

Commander: Tromell, Seymour's Butler

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a mono-green +1/+1 counter synergy deck helmed by Tromell, Seymour's Butler, a 2/3 Elf Advisor that gives each other nontoken creature an additional +1/+1 counter on entry and can tap to proliferate X times equal to the number of nontoken creatures that entered that turn. The deck's primary game plan is to deploy a dense suite of mana dorks and mana-producing creatures that scale with power (Selvala, Heart of the Wilds, Marwyn, the Nurturer, Kami of Whispered Hopes, Mona Lisa, Science Geek), use Tromell's proliferate ability to snowball counters across the board, and convert that mana into a win through Walking Ballista or overwhelming combat damage with trample enablers like Gnarlid Colony and Tuskguard Captain. The deck also runs a significant card-draw package (Beast Whisperer, Greater Good, Momentous Fall, Rishkar's Expertise) to keep the gas flowing. Combat is the primary path, with Ballista serving as a secondary outlet if infinite mana is assembled.
