Deck overview

This Sultai deck harnesses the mutate mechanic under Otrimi, the Ever-Playful to build towering, highly resilient single-creature threats that snowball value on combat damage. By mutating onto cheap, evasive, and hexproof base creatures like Slippery Bogle and Silhana Ledgewalker, the deck sidesteps conventional targeted removal. Each mutate trigger stacks multi-layered abilities, recurring cards from the graveyard with Otrimi, flooding the board with Auspicious Starrix, or dismantling opposing boards with Gemrazer and Dirge Bat. Brokkos, Apex of Forever provides an uncounterable graveyard recursion engine, while Cephalid Constable and Cold-Eyed Selkie convert Otrimi's 6/6 base stats into mass permanent bounce and massive card advantage. Supported by a robust suite of instant-speed interaction and sweeper protection, the deck excels at grinding out multiplayer pods through relentless combat pressure and continuous resource generation.
