Deck overview

This Éowyn, Shieldmaiden deck operates as a potent Jeskai Human Stax-Aggro strategy. It blends rule-setting hatebears with explosive token generation to control tempo before closing games through overpowering combat steps. The deck opens by establishing asymmetric taxes and restriction pieces such as Thalia, Guardian of Thraben, High Noon, and Deafening Silence, constraining opposing spell velocity and breaking combo lines. Once the table is slowed, it deploys Éowyn, Shieldmaiden on curve to generate two 2/2 trampling Human Knights every turn while drawing cards once six Humans are assembled. The army scales rapidly via premier lords like Greymond, Avacyn's Stalwart and token generators like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar. Decisive closers like Taunt from the Rampart, Forth Eorlingas!, and Archetype of Imagination bypass blockers to eliminate opponents in rapid succession. Resilient protection cards including Clever Concealment, Flawless Maneuver, and Boromir, Warden of the Tower safeguard the board against wipes, ensuring consistent pressure from onset to finish.
