Deck overview

This Gruul deck is built around Aerid Konstrari, utilizing artifact synergies, token duplication, and big mana generation to overwhelm opponents. Early turns prioritize efficient green ramp and mana rocks to deploy Aerid ahead of curve on Turn 3 or 4. Aerid provides immediate value by creating Heartwood artifact mana tokens on entry and death, while offering a repeatable {6} mana sink that generates additional ramp and scales Aerid's power based on your artifact count. The mid-game leverages massive power-based draw spells like Rishkar's Expertise alongside token doublers and clone effects such as Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink and Molten Duplication. Win conditions stem from devastating combat swings with Craterclaw Colossus or Displaced Dinosaurs, as well as asymmetric burn through Chandra's Ignition, Ingenious Artillerist, or a high-powered Crackle with Power. The list trades reactive control for explosive board development and resilient beatdown pressure.
