Deck overview

Commander Mustard is a Boros Soldiers token deck built to flood the battlefield with cheap Soldier tokens, pump them with anthem effects, and win through one or two big combat steps. Commander Mustard is the finishing piece: it gives every other Soldier vigilance, trample, and haste, making a wide board extremely hard to block, and its activated ability adds one damage per attacking Soldier to convert that board into reach. The deck uses efficient token generators, mass pumps, and a few combat-cheat creatures like Preeminent Captain, and it can also grind value with Assemble the Legion and Oath of Eorl. There is no hidden commander; every card directly supports the same aggressive soldier plan.
