Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color Hero tribal combat deck commanded by Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.. Supported by a dense suite of all ten 2-mana Talismans, the mana base quickly fixes all five colors to power out legendary Marvel Heroes ahead of curve. The primary game plan revolves around deploying low-cost Heroes and card-flow engines such as Jarvis, Earth's Mightiest Butler and Director Nick Fury, before using Nick Fury's Power-up ability to cheat heavy hitters onto the battlefield. Critical onset arrives around Turn 6 as scaling pump effects from Door of Destinies, Captain America, Wings of Freedom, and Avengers Assemble! turn the board into lethal combat threats. While the deck boasts high creature redundancy and strong anti-wipe protection like Heroic Intervention and Flawless Maneuver, its reliance on multi-turn combat steps leaves it exposed to sweepers and exile removal.
