Deck overview

This is a Snow-stax midrange deck helmed by Jorn, God of Winter // Kaldring, the Rimestaff. The plan is to flood the board with snow permanents, lock opponents under untap hate (Winter Orb, Static Orb, Stasis, Back to Basics, Frozen Aether, Winter Moon), and break parity by attacking with Jorn to untap every snow permanent you control. Parallel win paths are a 20/20 Marit Lage via Dark Depths (with Vampire Hexmage or Thespian's Stage) or Marit Lage's Slumber, plus fair snow beatdown from Abominable Treefolk, Ohran Frostfang, Icebreaker Kraken, and animated lands. The back face, Kaldring, the Rimestaff, is a graveyard cast outlet for snow permanents. The deck wins by freezing the table, then closing with Marit Lage or a deathtouch-backed snow army.
