Deck overview

This Golgari deck leverages Witherbloom, the Balancer to convert a wide board of mana dorks and utility creatures into massive mana acceleration for instant and sorcery spells. By granting creature affinity to noncreature spells, the deck casts high-impact card draw like Stinging Study, tutors such as Dark Petition, and game-ending finishers like Finale of Devastation for negligible mana. Supported by premier fast mana (Chrome Mox, Lotus Petal, Gaea's Cradle), top-tier tutors, and potent asymmetric hatebears (Collector Ouphe, Opposition Agent, Orcish Bowmasters), the deck establishes an explosive early presence. It transitions seamlessly between creature storm, reanimator lines featuring Hoarding Broodlord and Razaketh, the Foulblooded, and infinite mana loops via Devoted Druid and Hazel's Brewmaster. Robust protection pieces like Veil of Summer and Allosaurus Shepherd safeguard winning turns, delivering a resilient, high-velocity cEDH strategy.
