Niklas Yurikoo by Shurima

Format: Commander

Commander: Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a classic Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow ninja tempo deck built around the commander's combat-damage trigger, which reveals the top card of the library, puts it into hand, and drains each opponent for its mana value. The plan is to deploy evasive attackers (unblockable, flying, shadow), ninjutsu in Yuriko and a deep bench of high-impact ninjas, and chain triggers to stack cumulative life loss across the table. The deck runs a suite of high-mana-value cards - Silent-Blade Oni, Bloodline Bidding, Dig Through Time, Fallen Shinobi - specifically to maximize Yuriko's drain. Secondary paths include combat damage from a wide ninja board, casting opponents' spells for free via Fallen Shinobi, Silent-Blade Oni, and Nashi, Moon Sage's Scion, and incremental value from Kaito, Bane of Nightmares and Satoru, the Infiltrator.
