Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Vampire tribal and aristocrats strategy commanded by Edgar Markov. It leverages Edgar's eminence ability from the command zone to generate free 1/1 Vampire tokens whenever a Vampire spell is cast, creating a wide board presence without spending extra cards. The early game focuses on deploying low-mana Vampires to trigger eminence and establish card-draw engines such as Welcoming Vampire and Idol of Oblivion. By Turn 5, the deck transitions into a lethal threat by casting Edgar Markov to buff the army with +1/+1 counters, resolving Purphoros, God of the Forge, or casting Akroma's Will for an unblockable alpha strike. In response to board wipes or blockers, aristocrat pieces like Cruel Celebrant, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim drain opponents of their remaining life. A compact infinite drain combo between Bloodthirsty Conqueror and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose provides an alternate instant-speed victory.
