Deck overview

This Izzet midrange deck harnesses Muddle, the Ever-Changing to turn low-cost cantrips and interaction into explosive combat swings. By casting a 1-mana instant or sorcery, Muddle copies any nonlegendary creature on your board and gains myriad until end of turn. When Muddle attacks, myriad creates token copies attacking each opponent, triggering powerful enter-the-battlefield abilities and combat-damage triggers multiple times in a single combat step. Creatures like Pyrogoyf and Terror of the Peaks deliver massive burn waves, while Aether Channeler, Enduring Curiosity, and Mulldrifter generate overwhelming card advantage and tempo. A dense suite of cheap removal spells (Pongify, Rapid Hybridization, Into the Flood Maw) doubles as reactive disruption and instant-speed Muddle triggers. Supported by token amplifiers such as Rionya, Fire Dancer and Twinflame, alongside an infinite combat loop with Combat Celebrant, the deck steadily transitions from early setup into a lethal table-wide assault by Turn 7.
