Deck overview

This Mono-White deck is commanded by The Gaffer, focusing on high-density lifegain synergies to fuel steady card advantage and develop overwhelming combat boards. The game plan opens with low-cost lifegain creatures like Soul Warden, Soul's Attendant, and Guide of Souls. Deploying The Gaffer on Turn 3 or 4 turns regular life bursts into consistent card draw on your end step. The deck converts excess life into board pressure using token generators such as Resplendent Angel, Speaker of the Heavens, and The Book of Exalted Deeds, alongside scaling threats like Voice of the Blessed and Ajani's Pridemate. Global anthems from Righteous Valkyrie and Leyline of Hope elevate the creature swarm into lethal aerial attacks. Efficient removal spells handle key opposing permanents, while protective instants guard against mass removal. The deck wins by grinding value and executing a decisive combat finish.
