Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai spellslinger and storm list helmed by Elsha of the Infinite. The strategy centers on establishing high-velocity mana engines (Storm-Kiln Artist, Birgi, God of Storytelling, Kykar, Wind's Fury) alongside relentless card draw engines (Whirlwind of Thought, Archmage Emeritus, and Elsha's top-deck casting ability). After setting up an operational foundation on Turn 4, the deck untaps on Turn 6 to execute an explosive storm turn powered by rituals like Jeska's Will, Seething Song, and Mana Geyser. The primary win condition is Aetherflux Reservoir, which converts a sequence of 15+ noncreature spells into over 150 life, dealing 50 lethal damage to each opponent in a single turn. Backup finishes include storm burn with Grapeshot, steady attrition from Guttersnipe, or monk swarms from Monastery Mentor. Supported by a dense suite of 1-2 CMC counterspells, Deflecting Swat, and Teferi's Protection, the list maintains solid resilience while executing its manual storm lines.
