Deck overview

Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver commands a potent Dimir Aristocrats combo-control shell that blends explosive graveyard loops with resilient tribal card flow and interaction. The deck's primary objective is assembling an infinite sacrifice loop using Gravecrawler, a mana-generating sacrifice outlet such as Phyrexian Altar or Warren Soultrader, and a drain outlet like Bastion of Remembrance or Plague Belcher to eliminate all opponents in a single turn. Wilhelt provides built-in token redundancy and card draw, converting disposable decayed Zombies into resource velocity. Backed by a dense suite of premier tutors, graveyard recursion spells, and free countermagic including Force of Will and Fierce Guardianship, the deck protects its combo window effectively while contesting opposing threats.
