Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Vampire tribal midrange deck commanded by Evelyn, the Covetous. The strategy focuses on establishing early board presence with low-cost Vampires, casting Evelyn to exile cards from all players' libraries, and utilizing stolen spells alongside tribal synergies. The deck converts card advantage and tribal density into victory through scaling combat damage and aristocrat life-drain triggers from cards like Sanctum Seeker, Twilight Prophet, and Blood Artist. While the deck generates steady card flow and presents a resilient backup combat plan even without its commander, it relies on maintaining a visible creature board over multiple turn cycles. It features functional removal and light countermagic, but its reliance on unhasty combat and lack of mass protection leave it vulnerable to well-timed sweepers.
