Deck overview

Super-Skrull is an activated-ability engine in a five-color defender shell. The deck reduces its commander's abilities with Training Grounds, Biomancer's Familiar, and Zirda, turning {2}{W} into a one-mana 0/4 Wall, {5}{U} into cheap card draw, and {3}{G}/{4}{R} into pump and removal. Arcades, the Strategist is the hidden commander, letting walls attack with toughness and drawing cards on each defender. The primary win is an infinite loop: Super-Skrull creates a Wall, Phyrexian Altar sacrifices it for one mana, and Mirkwood Bats or Jaws of Defeat drains the table. Backup is a toughness beatdown with Assault Formation, Bedrock Tortoise, and Betor, Kin to All.
