Lathril, Blade of the Elves by Schoky58

Commander: Lathril, Blade of the Elves

Deck overview

This is a Golgari Elf tribal deck helmed by Lathril, Blade of the Elves, built around the classic "ramp hard, flood the board, then win through a finisher" game plan. The deck deploys a dense suite of mana dorks - Priest of Titania, Elvish Archdruid, Marwyn, the Nurturer, Circle of Dreams Druid - to accelerate into a wide board of Elf tokens generated by Lys Alana Huntmaster, Elvish Warmaster, Imperious Perfect, and Doubling Season. Wins come from three angles: a Craterhoof-style combat kill via Natural Order or Green Sun's Zenith, a drain finish through Lathril's tap-ten-Elves ability, Shaman of the Pack, Throne of the God-Pharaoh, or Skemfar Shadowsage, and an infinite-mana combo (Marwyn, the Nurturer + Umbral Mantle, or a dork + untapper) feeding Staff of Domination. Lathril herself is a token engine and a drain outlet, but the deck's real power lives in the 99.
