Deck overview

This Orzhov lifegain deck helmed by Elenda, Saint of Dusk blends a classic life-gain value engine with a voltron equipment subtheme. The primary plan is to race life totals upward - through doublers like Rhox Faithmender, Boon Reflection, and Doctor Strange, Surgeon - turning Elenda into a 10/10+ menace threat, then suiting her with equipment such as Aettir and Priwen and Twinblade Blessing to close via commander damage. Secondary wins include life-drain from Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Enduring Tenacity, plus angel token generation from Angelic Accord and Speaker of the Heavens. The deck is heavily creature-based with lifegain payoffs like Ajani's Pridemate and Voice of the Blessed, but it lacks meaningful card draw and tutoring, making it a slow, linear strategy that depends heavily on natural draws.
