Format: Commander

Commander: Bilbo, Thief in the Night

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Bilbo, Thief in the Night is a mono-blue artifact engine. Bilbo discounts spells cast outside the hand and his attack trigger recycles artifacts, instants, and sorceries from the graveyard, giving the deck two replay axes. The primary win is a library-cast engine using Fortune Teller's Talent or The Reality Chip with Sensei's Divining Top to run a long spell chain into Aetherflux Reservoir. The secondary path is equipment voltron: unblockable Bilbo or another artifact creature carrying Excalibur, Blackblade Reforged, or Bilbo's Ring. A hidden second Bilbo, Bilbo, Luckwearer // Burglar's Plot, works as a redundant unblockable draw engine and a card-type control exchange. The commander is reliable but not the sole engine, so the plan survives without him.
