Commander: Marchesa, Dealer of Death

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Grixis control-combo deck grinds card advantage and wins with Niv-Mizzet draw-damage loops. The primary plan pairs any Niv-Mizzet - Parun, the Firemind, or Visionary - with Curiosity or Tandem Lookout so each draw deals damage and each damage draws cards for infinite pings. A secondary line loops Forsaken Miner with Goblin Bombardment and Pitiless Plunderer for infinite sacrifice damage and Treasures. Marchesa, Dealer of Death is a value engine that filters two cards for {1} whenever you commit a crime. Kess, Dissident Mage and the Niv-Mizzets act as hidden commanders that drive the late game without Marchesa.
