Deck overview

This is a Grixis spellslinger/combo deck built around Fire Lord Azula's unique combination of attack-triggered mana generation and spell copying. The core plan is to land Azula, protect her, then use the window while she is attacking to chain cheap instants and sorceries through magecraft engines like Storm-Kiln Artist, Archmage Emeritus, and Ashling, Flame Dancer. The primary kill is a copied Crackle with Power or Torment of Hailfire with a massive X, multiplied further by Twinning Staff and Veyran, Voice of Duality. Flash enablers like Vedalken Orrery and Valley Floodcaller allow the deck to wait until the end step after Azula has already attacked, making the combo turn near-unanswerable. Secondary paths include Exsanguinate, the Dualcaster Mage + Reverberate copy loop, and commander damage from a pumped Veyran, Voice of Duality. The commander matters, but the engine lives mostly in the 99 - recurring via Galvanic Iteration, Invoke Calamity, and Mystic Sanctuary even if she is answered.
