Deck overview

This Bant list is a poison-and-counters midrange deck helmed by Yuna, Grand Summoner. The plan is deliberate rather than hyper-aggressive: seed every opponent with early poison via cards like Prologue to Phyresis and Infectious Bite, grow a counter-laden board through Yuna's cast bonus and salvage trigger, then convert that setup into a multiplayer clock with dense proliferate and modified combat. Yuna, Grand Summoner is a flexible engine-mana dork, +1/+1 counter enabler, and graveyard-to-board counter recycler-but the 99 carries a full toxic/infect and proliferate package without her. Primary wins come from table-wide poison escalation (proliferate engines plus toxic/infect combat) and explosive finishers such as Triumph of the Hordes, supported by unblockable counter creatures via Herald of Secret Streams and double-strike turns from Chocobo Knights. Secondary pressure is fair combat with trample, pump, and evasion once the board is modified.
