Deck overview

This deck is a high-power mono-black aristocrats combo list commanded by The Ghoul, Gunslinger. The primary game plan revolves around assembling infinite sacrifice and recast loops using Gravecrawler alongside free sacrifice outlets such as Phyrexian Altar or Warren Soultrader. With the commander or an aristocrat payoff like Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, or The Meathook Massacre on the battlefield, the loop produces infinite life drain, infinite Treasure tokens, or fatal rad counters. The deck leverages top-tier black card advantage engines including Ad Nauseam, Necropotence, and The One Ring to assemble its combo rapidly by Turn 4. To secure its game plan, the deck employs potent proactive stax and denial pieces such as Contamination, Opposition Agent, and Defense Grid to lock out opposing answers and disrupt enemy resource development while breaking parity through Zombie recursion.
