Yshtola Update by skaterslifer

Format: Commander

Commander: Y'shtola, Night's Blessed

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Y'shtola, Night's Blessed leads an Esper control-drain deck. She draws a card each end step a player lost 4 or more life and deals 2 damage to each opponent and gains 2 life whenever you cast a noncreature spell with mana value 3 or greater. The primary plan grinds the table with repeated Y'shtola triggers stacked with Kambal, Papalymo Totolymo, Liesa, Vito and Underworld Dreams behind Propaganda, Norn's Annex and sweepers. A secondary finish assembles Grievous Wound plus Wound Reflection to double half-life sorceries like Fraying Omnipotence and Rush of Dread. Y'shtola is the central draw and drain engine; Vito and Kambal serve as redundant hidden drain engines but no single hidden commander replaces her.
