Deck overview

This mono-black Aristocrats deck is helmed by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel, who functions as both a card advantage engine and a life-draining payoff in the command zone. The deck builds around sacrificing recurring creatures and tokens from staples like Bitterblossom, Ophiomancer, and Reassembling Skeleton into sacrifice outlets such as Ashnod's Altar and Viscera Seer. By resolving four creature death triggers in a single turn, Sephiroth transforms into Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel, granting a permanent emblem that drains opponents whenever any creature dies. The deck establishes asymmetric board control via Grave Pact and Priest of Forgotten Gods, steadily draining the table while replenishing resources through Skullclamp and Morbid Opportunist. To close games quickly, the deck transitions into the deterministic two-card infinite combo of Bloodthirsty Conqueror with Enduring Tenacity or Marauding Blight-Priest, completely draining all three opponents.
