Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Bant partners deck pairs Ishai, Ojutai Dragonspeaker and Anara, Wolvid Familiar to create a flexible, +1/+1 counter-driven combat strategy. Ishai grows with every spell opponents cast, becoming a massive flying threat, while Anara grants commanders indestructible during your turn. The deck piles on counters using Doubling Season, Hardened Scales, and Kami of Whispered Hopes, then makes Ishai unblockable via Whispersilk Cloak, Rogue's Passage, or Brotherhood Regalia. The primary win condition is commander damage-either through sheer power or by using Triumph of the Hordes to add infect-while Overwhelming Stampede and Akroma's Will serve as mass pump finishers. A dense protection suite (Teferi's Protection, Heroic Intervention, numerous instant-speed hexproof/indestructible spells) keeps Ishai on the board through removal and wraths. The deck is a resilient midrange voltron that punishes opponents for casting spells while steadily building an unstoppable threat.
