Deck overview

This deck is an Esper midrange strategy commanded by Alela, Artful Provocateur. It focuses on casting low-cost artifacts and enchantments to build a wide swarm of evasive Faerie tokens. The deck amplifies its aerial assault through anthems like Intangible Virtue and Virtue of Loyalty, while leveraging tall commander damage via All That Glitters and Duelist's Heritage. Its disruptive suite includes sweepers such as Wrath of God and hard graveyard shutdowns like Rest in Peace and Leyline of the Void. Because the deck operates largely at sorcery speed without counterspells or fast mana, it relies on steady incremental value and resilient combat steps to defeat opponents over multiple turn cycles.
