Deck overview

This mono-blue tempo deck focuses on developing cheap, evasive flying creatures during the opening turns to rapidly reduce the casting cost of The Lord of the Eagles. By flashing in an 8/8 flying commander at an opponent's end step for as little as two blue mana, the deck shifts from early board development into aggressive combat pressure by Turn 5. A dense suite of counterspells, bounce spells, and neutralizing enchantments protects your attackers and disrupts opposing game plans. While the deck generates steady air pressure and strong single-target interaction, its clock relies on incremental combat damage across multiple rotations to close the game.
