SOLDIER by Draxsen

Format: Commander

Commander: Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Naya Equipment Voltron deck is built around Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER, using his haste and attack trigger to draw cards and generate Treasures at power 7+. The primary plan is to suit up the commander with powerful equipment, chain extra combat steps via Tifa, Martial Artist, Godo, Bandit Warlord, and Akki Battle Squad, and overwhelm opponents with commander damage. A secondary copy of Cloud - Cloud, Midgar Mercenary - doubles equipment triggers for explosive value. Win conditions include commander damage with Colossus Hammer or Nazgul Battle-Mace, the artifact-based win of Hellkite Tyrant, and massive combat damage from extra combats. The deck packs a dense tutor suite for equipment, decent protection, and recursion to recover from wipes.
