Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger and storm archetype built around Vivi Ornitier. Vivi acts as both a lethal attrition engine and a burst mana generator: every noncreature spell cast places a +1/+1 counter on Vivi and deals 1 damage to each opponent, while Vivi's tap-free {0} activation converts that accumulated power directly into colored mana once per turn. The deck accelerates through early turns using artifacts and cost-reducers like Stormcatch Mentor before deploying Vivi on Turn 3. On Turns 4 and 5, it chains low-cost cantrips alongside force multipliers like Birgi, God of Storytelling, Harmonic Prodigy, and Veyran, Voice of Duality, whittling down opposing life totals while refilling the hand via engines like The One Ring and Curiosity. The game concludes on Turn 6 with a massive storm turn or a lethal Crackle with Power, supported by defensive countermagic and hexproof tools to safeguard its commanders and storm creatures.
