Deck overview

Saruman of Many Colors helms an Esper second-spell mill deck that turns cheap spells into graveyard value. The main plan is to cast two spells a turn, trigger Saruman and backup payoffs, then use the milled cards to cast opponent instants and sorceries. Secondary paths are Bruvac-plus-mass-mill finishes, The Mindskinner's unblockable damage-to-mill clock, and Syr Konrad/Mindcrank drain loops. The commander's main role is to generate card advantage by copying spells from graveyards, while the hidden commander is Bruvac the Grandiloquent. The deck is not a fast combo deck; it wins through incremental mill plus one or two big mill spells protected by counters.
