Commander: Nekusar, the Mindrazer

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Grixis deck operates as a classic wheel-and-punish engine led by Nekusar, the Mindrazer. The primary strategy focuses on deploying permanents that penalize opponents for drawing or discarding cards, such as Underworld Dreams, Fate Unraveler, and Megrim. Once these damage engines are established, the deck chains massive draw and discard spells like Windfall, Dark Deal, and Whispering Madness to shred enemy life totals in rapid bursts. Secondary win conditions leverage burst draw like Peer into the Abyss targeting an opponent or massive discard value through Tergrid, God of Fright to seize discarded permanents and lock out the game.
