Deck overview

This deck is a focused Mardu combat aggro strategy led by Tsagan, Raider Warlord. The game plan curves out with efficient first strike and double strike creatures on the first two turns, followed by casting Tsagan on Turn 3. When Tsagan attacks on Turn 4, its trigger buffs all attacking creatures by +1/+0 for each first strike and double strike creature you control. Because double strike applies this power bonus twice, a small board quickly generates lethal combat damage. Supporting pieces like Kwende, Pride of Femeref and Odric, Lunarch Marshal amplify keyword sharing, while Akroma's Will, All-Out Assault, and Great Train Heist push decisive table kills. The deck maintains velocity through low-cost draw engines like Florian, Voldaren Scion and protects its board with Boros Charm and Dawn's Truce. While susceptible to repeated creature sweepers, its low curve and mass recursion enable rapid recovery.
