Deck overview

This Bant Dragon Midrange deck harnesses ramp, cost reduction, and topdeck manipulation to deploy massive flying Dragons ahead of curve. Led by Amareth, the Lustrous, the deck filters card draws whenever matching permanents enter the battlefield. Topdeck organizers like Sensei's Divining Top and Scroll Rack maximize Amareth's trigger rate. Early turns focus on establishing mana through pieces like Acolyte of Bahamut, Three Visits, and Urza's Incubator. By Turn 5 to 6, the deck lands devastating Elder Dragons such as Ancient Gold Dragon, Ancient Silver Dragon, and Old Gnawbone. Damage doublers like Sylvia Brightspear and one-sided sweeps like Raise the Palisade turn large flyers into rapid table-ending combat steps. Supported by flexible countermagic and Aura Shards, the deck maintains strong mid-game board control while applying relentless aerial pressure.
