Deck overview

This deck is a Bant midrange engine centered on Kellan, the Kid. It capitalizes on casting spells from non-hand zones—such as exile through foretell, plot, and adventures, or directly from the top of the library—to trigger Kellan's ability, cheating permanent spells into play or putting extra lands onto the battlefield. The strategy builds massive resource velocity through continuous card draw engines like Vega, the Watcher and The Reality Chip alongside cost reducers like Doc Aurlock, Grizzled Genius. After establishing an overwhelming board state, the deck finishes opponents through massive combat overruns powered by Moonshaker Cavalry, Apex Devastator, or Finale of Devastation. Comprehensive protection spells like Heroic Intervention and Cosmic Intervention defend the board against opposing interaction, while cards stored in exile ensure rapid recovery from sweepers.
