Deck overview

This Jeskai deck pairs custom partner commanders Kratos, Stoic Father and Atreus, Impulsive Son to execute a resilient God-tribal and +1/+1 counter strategy. The game plan focuses on deploying early mana rocks into Atreus on Turn 3 and Kratos on Turn 4. Attacking with Gods generates experience counters on the player that persist through removal. Kratos distributes +1/+1 counters equal to your experience counters each end step, while Atreus converts experience into massive card advantage and table-wide burn. Supporting Gods like Purphoros, God of the Forge and Iroas, God of Victory provide indestructible utility and combat safety. Proliferate effects like Tezzeret's Gambit accelerate counter accumulation. While the deck lacks tutors and stack interaction, its dense ramp and permanent experience counters provide excellent mid-game grind and recovery. Opponents face escalating pressure from large flying creatures and repeatable direct damage, closing out games by Turn 8.
